Kate Conklin sings opera, folk music and original works, and specializes in the highly ornamented vocal music of Bulgaria. She performs to have profound, joyful communication with other beings, exploring the qualities of delicacy and resiliency, wildness and precision. Kate sings in seventeen + languages.

Recreational Science

A one-woman opera written for Kate Conklin by Javier Navarrete, with text by Victor Nubla. Recreational Science explores scientific discoveries, curiosities and innovation between the 18th and mid-20th centuries, investigating the euphoria and despair of the scientific process.
